I was walking through a neighborhood where I passed by a house with a balcony that had a few people on it. I realized that they were my classmates from middle school and high school. It seemed I was going to a class reunion. I felt an easy and didn’t want to go, so I kept walking past it Although I had on a pretty dress for the occasion. As I walked, I snapped my fingers and put my hand out in a little bird landed on my hand and flew away. I did it again and the bird came back to my hand and perched on my finger. It pooped and flew away, but came back and stayed on my finger. I walked through a forest back to my home where I created a nest in a flower pot for the bird. I prepared, birdseed and water in the flower pot for the bird and it rested there. I realized it was pregnant and needed a place to stay. I woke up.
Dreams often reflect our thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and they can present symbols and scenarios that might hint at deeper meanings. Here’s a breakdown of the key elements in your dream:
Class Reunion: The presence of your classmates suggests themes of nostalgia, reflection on the past, and feelings related to social situations or unresolved issues from that period in your life. It could represent your current feelings about your relationships and how you perceive your own growth since those times.
Not Wanting to Attend: Your reluctance to join the reunion could indicate a hesitation or discomfort with confronting your past or certain aspects of your social life. It might also suggest that you're seeking independence or a desire to move beyond old ties and expectations.
The Bird: Birds often symbolize freedom, communication, and creativity. The act of summoning the bird and it landing on your hand suggests a willingness to embrace new opportunities or aspects of yourself. The fact that it kept returning after flying away might represent the idea that something in your life, maybe an opportunity or a piece of your identity, is worth nurturing and may come back to you, even if it seems fleeting at first.
Caring for the Bird: Creating a nest and providing food indicates a nurturing side of your personality. It may suggest a need to care for something or someone (including yourself) and highlights your capacity for compassion and responsibility. The bird being pregnant might symbolize potential or new beginnings – perhaps the birth of new ideas, projects, or phases in your life that need care and attention.
Walking Through the Forest to Home: Forests can represent the unknown or a journey of self-discovery. Walking back to your home may symbolize returning to a place of safety, comfort, and self-reflection, suggesting that your journey is also about finding your true self.
Overall, this dream could be reflecting your inner conflict about your past, your current identity, and the new opportunities or responsibilities you're contemplating. It encourages self-exploration and acknowledges your nurturing instincts. You may be in a transitional phase where you are reassessing your past relationships and nurturing new aspects of your life.
